Send a message to any of our word-messaging customers. It's as easy as 1, 2, 3.
The recipient's Pager Identification Number (PIN) should be entered without any spaces or punctuation. Enter all digits including the toll-free prefix if applicable.
Be sure to add your name at the end so the recipient knows who sent the message.
The recipient's unit and type of service determine the length of message you can send. If you're not sure what kind of service the recipient has, we recommend limiting the message to 240 characters.
If you know what type of unit and service the recipient has, here are your guidelines: Beepwear - 120 characters; other Text Paging - 240 characters; Advanced Messaging - 500 characters; Mobile Mail and BlackBerry - 2,000 characters. A character is any letter, number, punctuation, special character or space.
Click on the Character Count button after you've typed the message to see
how many characters you've entered.
Customers with Advanced Messaging, Mobile Mail or BlackBerry service can respond to your messages directly from their pagers if you supply a response address. This address can be your PIN if you can receive word messages, or your internet email address when sending to a Advanced Messaging, Mobile Mail or BlackBerry customer.
